ozzie777Hey folks, does anyone know how to use audiograbber to record streaming audio broadcasts to mp3 files?
garybeaflOn this page there is a search feature. It is a picture of the world with a mag glass. Click on it and type in "recording streaming audio". without the quotes. Good luck.
moonroySome soundcards can do that. If you set up the Line-in recording in AG and has a source with the streaming audio it will work. Often called "What you hear" or similar in the windows mixer.

You can also install some app such as total recorder. It will record anything being played thru the soundcard.

grbTo record internet radio streams, I don't use line-in. I Use "Stereo Mixer" instead. It works fine for me and I don't need to use an audio loopback patchcord.

1) In Audiograbber, go to File->Line in Sampling...
2) Click the "Mixer" button
3) "Recording Control" will appear.
4) Go to Options->Properties
5) In "Mixer Device" select your sound card. You probably won't need to do this since it's usually set there by default.
6) Under "Adjust volume for", select the "Recording" radio button.
7) Under "Show the following volume controls", scroll down the list and make sure "Stereo Mixer Input" is checked (some PC's might be different and show this as "Loopback").
8) Click "OK" to return to the "Recording Control" window.
9) Under "Stereo Mixer Balance", make sure the "Select" box is checked.
10) Now Audiograbber should be able to record streamed / streaming content.

After you're done recording the stream, don't forget to reset your mixer control back to "Line-in" if you want to use an external audio source later.

BTW, this is in Windows 2000. I don't know if this will work the same in XP.
