Subject : I need help with this

Boy, I could really use your help. I am 56 years old and although I am pretty computer literate, I don't understand about burning kareoke music. I have burned lots of regular cd's, but I do something wrong when it comes to kareoke.

My father is 83 years old and has a kareoke machine. (GPX) He bought a computer last year just so he could make a copy of his kareoke music. He has dialysis three times a week for 4 hours at a time and wants to watch his kareoke music. He has an emachine, so I found a Sony DVD/CD burner for him and installed it. He also has Neo Burning Rom on his computer. I try to copy cd's, but also get an x in the lower box. I have tried several kareoke cd's and never can get the words on the screen. Am I doing something wrong? Should I get his music from someplace else?

This is really important to me. My father doesn't have much longer to live and this is the only thing in life I have not been able to do for him. I am getting desperate to figure this out.

Are you able to help? Do I need to buy anything else?
I have never worked with karaoke CD's before, so I need your help to help these folks out.

moonroyRip using audiograbber to cdg+wav. Burn using cdrwin. Nero doesn't handle karaoke.

HollerHmmmmmmm...

Yes... CD+G is a little more complicated.

As above. Use AudioGrabber to rip each track you want to .bin files.

Create a Cue Sheet: http://www.powerkaraoke.net/download/powercuecreatorsetup.exe

Then burn with Nero: http://www.karaokeplayground.co.uk/help/help.htm

chiefwifeI think your problem may be the cd burner. The only one I've used is plexor(spelling may be off) But best buy has it for about 200.
knightshowgoldenhawk dot com has a list of all compatible burners at their website.

I have no idea about the current version of audiograbber, but on 1.82, there's the means to rip directly to mp3+g format. And I have no problems with graphics... no fuzz or anything.

and one thing I use is karaokebuilder.com cdg player. You can play .bin files as well as the .cdg files! directly on your computer.

If you suspect your .bin isn't working, merely play it and find out using this program. If it works fine, then rip to mp3g.
