I have decided to use the LAME Internal Encoder and wanted some opinions on using VBR: Method ABR ,192 kbs, Joint Stereo, High Quality. Any advantages or disadvantages with ABR. I like the idea of VBR, its the method that I'm most concerned with. Thanks

Don't use that one. For the best results using the lame internal encoder you should use the following which is equal to preset standard which is the recommended preset for most users. The file is high quality vbr around 180-220 k/bits.Make sure you are using lame 3.96+ * Select variable bitrate * Select old * On the low to high quality slider move it to vbr 2 * Choose Joint Stereo Edit: Typos ------------------ Tom My Audiograbber Guides [This message has been edited by Tomb on 16 March 2005 @ 09:00]
