I am doing some line-in sampling to record from cassette to mp3. It works great but every now and again while recording the input source changes by itself from line-in to mic! (often my conversation in the room gets recorded)
This seems to happen randomly and I cant figure out what is causing it to change. if anyone has any idea please let me know.
I am using WINXP home
THanks

Having had numerous line-n problems recently... but not for over a couple years, I recently
did a fresh download of AG from the European
Danish mirror (I think.) After doing so
some problems with looping at line -in
cleared up.

So that's a suggestion. Get a fresh download. And delete any AG stuff before doing so.

Also, since there are numerous sound control
panels, make sure they all have the mic turned off or disabled. Your sound card has one, AG has one that I think links from
the Windows accessories one or may be separate.

I'm no wiz at this. But nobody responded to your question. :-)
