I'm not sure if I'm using this wrong or simply misinformed about its function. I have a Realtek AC97. I Open the mixer, I select the checkbox underneath "Line-in" and I turn its volume all the way up and I reduce all the other functions to minimum. I thought that the line-in would let me record whatever sounds my computer was making, but the Audiograbbers' volume doesn't move much when I turn hte volume up on the computer's player. I was using a Windows Media player. When I flipped between mute and max volume, the volume did change by about 1%. Am I mistaken about how to use this or am I mistaken about its purpose?

It seems that you are only checking the volume control and not selecting the windows recording properties for line-in.

See here.
